LHC@Home is a volunteer computing platform for you to help physicists compare theory with experiment in the search for new fundamental particles and answers to questions about the Universe. Volunteer computing is a well-established form of citizen science where you download scientific software on your own laptop or desktop and run simulations, in a way that does not interfere with your computer’s normal operation.
